Welcome!

The Center for Teaching and Learning (CTL) invites faculty and staff to discuss their questions and comments about how the CTL assists students with mathematics, science, writing, testing, and/or study skills concerns. Post your questions and comments to this blog so that the CTL can review and respond to your feedback. To learn more about the CTL services, go to www.uis.edu/ctl .

The CTL staff looks forward to hearing from you!

"I do have a question. Is there a handout or link that you use in the CTL to help graduate students prepare a literature review? If so, could you send me that information. I use the links from the CTL website to encourage my students to visit the site for writing information, but haven’t found a link for literature reviews."

"Excellent question. Our graduate assistant finished our very resourceful “tutorial” page - http://www.uis.edu/ctl/writing/tutorials.html#Research . Go to this link and see at the very bottom that students (and of course you) can download any of the four resources about Literature Reviews: PowerPoint, handout, quiz, and audio recording of PowerPoint.
